My mom, Pacita Todtod Bobadilla was an actress and singer. She
worked with "The Duke" in "They
Were Expendable", a great WWII film starring John Wayne, Donna Reed, and Robert Montgomery. If you catch the movie or rent the DVD she's the nightclub singer on stage when she's interrupted to announce the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Listen to her sterling rendition of "America the Beautiful". This is a classic John Ford film and worth the viewing time for any film nostalgia buff. She's in the cast listing and has her own filmography page. Check her
